36 Inch Large Format Scanner

The WideTEK® 36CL-MF is one of the fastest color CIS scanners on the market, running at 10 inches per second at 200 dpi in full color. At the full width of 36" and 600 dpi resolution, the scanner still scan at 1.7 inches per second. The scanning speeds in black and white or greyscale modes are 15 inches per second. Additionally, the speeds can be individually configured (slowed) if needed, to scan fragile, valuable documents.

All of these speeds are guaranteed, due to the Scan2Net® technology integrated in the scanner´s own built in 64 bit Linux PC. It is a true standalone system capable of scanning directly to FTP servers, Network shared folders, USB drives, to cloud applications in the internet or copying to printers directly, without the need for an extra PC. The Linux PC HDD is completely encrypted and works with any Windows Network.

The WideTEK® 36CL-MF handles documents up to 38 inches wide with a maximum scanning width of 36 inches. The scanner is a standalone system, which is capable of scanning to FTP servers, SMB folders, USB mass storage devices, cloud applications on the Internet or copy directly to a printer without an additional external PC.

The WideTEK® 36CL produces extraordinarily sharp images, with color accuracy even superior to competing CCD scanners. Document rotation is done on the fly, a scan of an E-sized / A0 document in portrait mode at 300 dpi in 24-bit color takes less than 7 seconds to scan and another 2 seconds to crop, deskew, preview and store.

The 22 inch color touchscreen provides access to all functions directly from the scanner. The touchscreen is very easy to access and is operator-friendly since its attached to the scanner and tilts so the operator can stand or sit while scanning.

You can also choose to not mount the 22" monitor and control the scanner (remotely) through a PC with it's own monitor and keyboard. The scanner is connected via a ethernet cable to a network. You then launch a browser on a networked PC and control the scanning operation through the browser on your PC, just like you would with a network printer.

The paper guide consists of only one piece which includes the scanning bed, scanning area and the exit path. There are no edges or catches which could cause a paper jam. The suface is textured for trouble free transport and the stainless steel makes for an anti-static surface that's long lasting too.
