Redefining what is possible with a large format printer, the TM Series printers offer enhanced productivity, efficiency, and usability over the previous generation of the imagePROGRAF TM & TA series printers. The imagePROGRAF TM-240 is great for entry-level users in small spaces printing posters, CAD documents, signage, and more with vivid color reproduction with newly formulated magenta ink & color calibration.

Please note this printer has only 55 ml cartridges and the cartridges cannot be upsized. This model is designed for limited printing. If you plan on printing every day, the TM-250 is a more cost efficient model. The TM-240 55 ml cartridges cost $47 versus $77 for the TM-250 130 ml cartridges. You're getting 236% more ink for 163% of the cost. It will not take very many prints for the TM-250 to become more cost efficient than the TM-240.

The newly designed imagePROGRAF TM Series has been built for more efficiency and comfort compared to previous models with its new flat-body design, full-frontal operation, and new 4.3” adjustable user interface screen. The user interface screen displays the ink levels and sub-ink tank levels, automatic media detection indicator levels, and more setting prompts all on the home screen! Registered as EPEAT Gold—first in the imagePROGRAF TM Series— and as ENERGY STAR certified, this series is replacing EPS packaging materials with cardboard packaging. Plus, there is a host of creative workflow software included, such as, PosterArtist (Online and Lite versions), Free Layout Plus, Direct Print Plus, Accounting Manager, and more, to help with your everyday personal and business needs!

LUCIA TD Pigment Ink Set

The TM-350 printer features an all-new 5-color TD pigment ink set. This ink was formulated to produce fine lines and sharp text on both inkjet and non-inkjet paper. Combine this pigment ink with water resistant media and you have a printed drawing that can withstand many outdoor conditions, especially outdoor job sites such as construction sites. Available in 130 ml or 300 ml ink tanks. A total of 490 ml of ink ships standard with the TM-350.

Print Head PF-06

The 6-channel PF-06 Print Head is engineered to work with the printer's high-speed carriage and high-frequency ink ejection to help facilitate fast printing. This printer boasts Canon's print-head technology that lays down ink with outstanding speed and accuracy. The PF-06 print head incorporates a nozzle orifice shape to help minimize mist spray, producing clean lines and text. The high-precision, high-density print head, with a total of 15,360 nozzles, lays down 5 picoliter-size ink droplets that help produce sharp detail and excellent image quality. The result is consistently accurate 2400 x 1200 dpi output (max.) with fine lines that are accurate to ±0.10% and as thin as 0.02 mm.

New Magenta Ink

Equipped with newly formulated magenta ink, these printers achieve excellent red color development. The printers produce highly visible posters, making it possible to create attention-grabbing retail POPs and engaging office displays. The use of pigment ink for all colors helps to ensure that prints do not easily fade over time. This ink makes them suitable for long-term display, and also provides water resistance for outdoor use.

New Speeds

With the new L-COA PRO II processor, the new imagePROGRAF TM Series is approximately 30 percent faster than previous models with a speed of up to 3.2 ppm for an Arch D size sheet (24” x 36”).

Color Calibration

The ability to calibrate your printer for consistent color quality is now available in the imagePROGRAF TM Series. This helps ensure your output is color consistent over time and across multiple TM Series devices.

Automatic Paper Detection

The new imagePROGRAF TM Series is able to determine the media type, length, and width, and displays this information on the user interface home screen.

Sub Ink Tank System

The Sub-Ink Tank System allows virtually all of the available ink in a tank to be used before having to replace it. The empty tanks can also be replaced on-the-fly without stopping the printer. This is extremely useful during your long print jobs.

  • PosterArtist (Online and Lite versions) is an easy-to-use, cost-free, template-driven poster creation software. Create professional posters, banners, flyers, and more in just four easy steps!
  • Free Layout Plus lets you nest, tile, and create custom layouts before printing your files with this print utility. Use the plug-in feature to print directly from Microsoft Office programs.
  • Direct Print Plus lets you batch print files and monitor the status of more than one imagePROGRAF Series printer. Additional features allow you to easily produce collated sets, drag and drop PDF files, and nest images.
  • Accounting Manager helps track actual ink and media usage and costs.
